back in with a block of wood to hold the subframe up.

If it's a 1981 - 1985 turbo W123 how about removing the temp. and blower
motor regulators and shipping them to me for a pittance (unless you KNOW
they don't work). My ACC is erratic but acts the same with two different
push button modules, so it must be something else. The monovalve

I had time this morning to clean off the brake dust residue and
there are low relief numbers to be read:-
126 400 30 02
7Jx15H2
ET25
Center caps 201 401 02 25 (faded)
Some other numbers are;- AS1062 with a fox icon plus 132030.
Also an isolated 075 stamped in rather than embossed.
I expected one of the pictures to be the towering flames - you were lucky!
I called them, they marked the pipe. I got tired of trying to excavate
around the pipe with a shovel, having exposed a little of it. Tried to
speed up the job (without a spotter) with the backhoe. Oops.

I did find a Walker one that is supposed to be right for $117. I need to
see if the high priced car parts stores here have any of those so I can
at least look and see if they are the same.

Gotta be the front. There's no way to pay $300 for a rear sensor, those top out
around $100-125 IIRC. Just the reverse of my 2.4L Olds, I can get a front for
about $16 plus
It is a fun car to drive. I didn't want it, but it is fun to drive.
