No, a string wound depth filter is better than gin trash stuffed in a
can. For one thing, the oil can actually penetrate it -- no
filtration with no flow.
The paper full flow filter is also pretty good, but a separate issue.

Yes, and yes. For the 20 minutes or so that the outside receptacle (and
light switch and fan box and security light) were disconnected from the
circuit, the GFCI held just fine. Work for a few hours after said circuit
elements were added back in, then started tripping. Overnight it seems to
In my house, black is line and white is neutral. No tv's or other
entertainment devices installed on any of the GFCI protected outlets.
I may have to start measuring the current flow on individual circuits to see

All models have been crashed by TUV in Germany and the results published.
The Insurance Institute also crashes them and the W204 C-Class got a top
rating from them. Go to their
Side (front) bags were present before 1999 in the 210's; 1999 saw the
addition of curtain bags. I think rear seat side bags came in 2000.
The funny thing is that the control module has the squib outputs for 4
side bags even in 1999.

Does ooptional vs standard make a difference? Rear side bags are an option

One does not need the special tool assembly cage or assembly sleeve that
is called for in the service manual. Also, removing the camshaft gear is
also not necessary (at least on my engine - haven't checked the chain
stretch yet so maybe I have a really looong chain helping out here).
