Simple job.Lift car high enough to get under it.
Make sure position of steering arm is marked. If not, mark it.
Remove sterring arm with puller.
Remove internal Circlip.
Drill small hole (1/8) in to seal and screw in wood

According to the insurance adjuster who settled my claim for the rear bumper
of the wife's '79 300TD there are no new ones available and a like-new used

Just to verify, this is the Chrysler servo system? When one of the vacuum
pods under the dash leaked too much to actuate, the ACC in my '78 450SLC
would default to full heat, IIRC. I never tried to fix it - so don't even
know which pod it was (or how many might be more accurate).
