Progressive dislikes acceleration, in any direction.
They ding you for a 'hard brake' at 7mph/second.
If you stop for a yellow light, you WILL be penalized.
If you routinely run yellow/pink lights, don't corner hard, and drive a
diesel, you'll probably do OK.
Actually you should change it regularly. If you do a lot of service, it's
almost monthly. There are guidelines which I don't remember, but I do
remember them surprising me at how often it should be changed.

Depends on how paranoid you are I suppose. If I had one I'd be very careful
about who I let drive my car though. Loan the car out, friend does something
stupid and up goes your rate...

I think he means fleece. RLE used to refer to the newer Benz filters as
fleece.
He correlated the use of fleece filters to the higher milage between oil
changes IIRC.
i always found that fleece terminology really strange. i'd think of the
old 617 filters that were comprised of cloth milling residue as more
fleece than the modern synthetic type material filters. they are just
like the paper filters only they use a synthetic filtration medium, like

Actually, the specifcation is, I believe, string filters, like Wix

I believe Mann and Hengst are wound string, so is WIX (at O'Reilly's),
