I've never shot a 930 but the 1100 is a nice gun. The 500 is about the most versatile firearm ever made. Theres a high comb stock with a high rib barrel for clays, field barrel and lower comb stock for birds, rabbits, squirrels and whatnot rifled barrel with a scope for big game... -Curt

IMO exactly the right choice. The Beretta 686 is the choice of every serious shotgunner that I know, from a few I have hunted with who could afford whatever they wanted, to a native guide I hunted with up in Canada. My Remington 870 is a better choice for the zombie apocalypse though. Greg

The GenRad calls the ESR rating "Q". I look at that, and the rated capacitance. The Heathkit IT-28 is responsible for the leakage test, and is the only one that puts significant voltage on the cap. I always start there, and if it passes that test then I'll throw it on one of the good bridge
