Today I got all the dash and interior put back together. AC still needs to be emptied of the N2 charge and then charged with R134. Filled the radiator with plain water, connected the battery, and started her up! All systems go except AC. No extra fasteners left over! -- Max Dillon

I looked at the local LKQ inventory for a car that might have a front fascia for this E300, nothing there.  So I looked at Copart and they have 2 cars in Columbia, a coupla hours up the road. Looks like a bunch of flood Benzes, and there is one that doesn't look too bad for a donor.

If it is truly rust-less I'd pay $1K for it. (Not that I currently have $1K at hand, but you know.) The way I see it, even if the engine is seized, as long as there is zero rust in the body, a donor engine is easily source. Very easy in your case, I'd imagine, given the cars you have lying around.
