My rubber duck hunting boots were made in Canada. Considering I only paid $20
for 'em they're pretty terrific.
I like a prop plane for a short hop, fly low so you can see something.

Q400 is a nice aircraft. I had a US buddy when I was living in Canada who
talked trash on Canada saying there is no Canadian auto. But they make nice
aircraft. To be fair, my best pal Canadian guy, a Mountie, also trashed
Canadian products.

Youngest son was able to visit the crash site of both aircraft in the Grand
Canyon crash when he was working out there for the NPS. In a very, very remote
part of the park that requires some serious multiple day backcountry hiking to
get to. Even though there was an effort to clean up

Eastern Airlines back when they flew L188 Electra's
I saw Grace Kelly sitting in Ist class as I boarded the Boston/LaGuardia
shuttle once, and exchanged a smile of recognition.
That was about 1969 in Boston.
Ist wife's folks lived in NYC at that time and we visited monthly then.

I liked Eastern, but they were going through their final demise when I was
traveling. I think I only flew them a couple of times, one time on a 727 from
ATL to MKE with one other passenger. Loads of fun playing euchre with the cabin
crew and free drinks.

Let's hear it for the Eastern Airlines shuttle. Every hour on the hour to
NYC (LAG). Walk up, step on, belt up, arrive.
