again when they close back up, unless the trigger is cycled again.

I don't own any pistols -- my understanding is that Glocks don't have a
traditional safety "switch" as such, but they do have mechanisms to prevent
firing other than by a deliberate trigger pull.

I carried a Glock 19 daily for many years, and this is the first I'm
hearing of a self-firing one. The only "failure" I'm aware of is the
tendency to go full auto. That happened at the range once. But even then
it was easy to control.
If a trigger catches on any weapon it may fire. Even a pocket
