ATTABOY! Sounded like a vacuum problem to me. 'Found the vacuum problem a few minutes ago; red/blue line to turbo had come apart at a coupling nearly hidden directly above right side of fan by corner of radiator. Replaced it with injector return line. Tranny shift is normal. Getting

Elring is fine for all but 124. Sun Valley is very specific to ONLY use MANN on the 124. He knows his . I use elring on everything else. But for 124, it is MANN. There is not a big price difference. If you don't mind taking a chance of your 124 not shifting out of second on a rainy

If the vacuum controls for the EGR and air recirculation valve are blown, you can get low vac to the transmission and ACC controls. If the ACC air handling isn't working right (mainly air out of the windshield defrost vents when it's not supposed to be), check for vac. The supply comes

Hey Wilton, When I put a rebuilt AT in my w124 last year (bought from Rusty, rebuilt by SunValley) I was planning to get the installation shop to put Mobil 1 ATF in but asked Sun Valley and they quickly replied that I should use Dexron II.So that it is. Also, Sun valley requires a 24k

Don't be fooled. they can leak too. Mostly a mushy black connector. the hard plastic lines can crack, and the black connectors can crack too. The modulator is suspect until you pull a vacuum on it and it holds. 'Can find nothing obviously amiss/loose vacuum wise; 'checked tranny fluid
