and not screw up the orientation.Just don't separate the halves. Unbolt it at the flex disks, unbolt the bearing carrier and drop the drive shaft as a complete unit. You may have to remove or loosen the parking break cable if you cannot slide the d/s out around it. Luther Curt Raymond

Anybody ever replace a u joint in a 123 driveshaft? My Indy thinks that some of the vibration I'm feeling while driving my '83 240D is from a bad ujoint. He says unfortunately MB doesn't sell u joints we'd need the whole driveshaft. Rusty's site has nothing under driveshaft which sort of lends
