A new fuse solved the Problem. Jerry called tonight and and said he was
holding what looked like a good fuse, but a new one in its place turned his
lights on.
He thanks you and I thank you. He is very impressed about the support this

Check them properly anyway. 90% chance that rather than some
problem with the wiring harness. Can't be the switch, the L/R

can't always tell anything about a fuse by eyeballing it; swap a couple
of them around to see if the symptom moves.
if that doesn't have any effect, inspect the plug at the back of the
bulb to make sure none of the wires and/or contacts have pulled loose;
if nothing visible, try putting a

Thanks to Jim, Scott, Mitch, Ernest and OK Don for the tips. I sent them
all to the guy I gave the car to and asked him for feedback I'll report

Howdy -
A couple of weeks ago I wrote about an intermittant low beam problem on my '91

fuse - but when I was checkng the bulb I found the push-on plug that attaches
to the rear of the bulb had a strange problem - the

From what I've heard, the connectors used with those bulbs can't reliably
handle the current demands of a headlight.
