I know I'm late to the party but compare the PT Cruiser to the Chevy HHR.
Imagine the talk at GM Hey that PT Cruiser is an ugly mother but they sell
alot of 'em. Lets copy it.

somewhere that some of the metal that makes the MB version nice and
strong was removed to lighten the Pacifica ---

Yep- just recycled the chassis and shipped it w/new skin to Chrysler
dealers who cannot and/or don't know how to fix the things and a
supposed DCX mandate
Just wait until the Challenger comes out.. I checked it out at the Chicago
Auto Show and if it looks anything like the prototype they'll have a
winner on their hands

They are horrible cars, I think they look nasty and visibility out of
them, especially the psueo-wagon, is terrible, but they are VERY
popular. Only real problem with them is that joke of a slab of cast
iron, the Hemi. Only Chrysler would dust of a 1951 engine design and
install it new
