Why not just pop out the FUSE if you didn't need wipers? I've driven my SDLs and other DIesels all over. Never been stranded far from home or a line shack so far. For many years I was putting 50,000 miles a year on the SDL, and more on other vehicles. Curt Raymond via Mercedes

I drove my '83 240D 70 miles home from Boston with wipers that wouldn't shut off... Started carrying deoxit in the car for a quick fix. Eventually got it clean enough it never did it again. Anybody wants to live with a car 10+ years old really needs to be a home-gamer, otherwise you'll get

Anybody know much about the first few years of the modern Chrysler 300? I know the first few years had a lot of Mercedes components. I saw an ad for a 2005 Chrysler 300C (with the 5.7 hemi) and am wondering about reliability. Donald H. Snook ___
