engine, two have 6V92 TA [6 cylinder, V configuration, 92 cubic inches per
cylinder, Turbo, Supercharged, Aftercooled].. all have Allison automatic

Not all of them were. However, I misspoke. My 8V71 engined bus is
supercharged, it does not however have the turbocharger setting on top of
the supercharger, thus in normal reference is called NA or Normally
Aspirated.

Don't recall that they did. Just an intake manifold like your cheby truck
only with an injection pump and injectors buried under it to take the last

As others have said, if you are serious about this, look for a diesel.
Another consideration would be to fond a diesel bus shell and finish (pimp) out

later repowered with a Screamin' Jimmy 8V-71. Those weren't known for
sipping fuel, but they sure have a nice sound! The big, modern Detroit

If you get over 8MPG with it, you're doing pretty well. We had a mid 90's
Chevy class C with a 454 in it, and it got around 7MPG towing a Jeep Grand
Cherokee. That wasn't going the speed limit either :D. A 1995 32 footer
