Sold the SL500 today to an Armenian guy I was sure was a flipper. Turns out he
was buying it for his kid.
He beat on me relentlessly to try and get me down, but I walked away on him. A
couple of minutes later he came back and gave me my price.
I felt like I had just finished my first day of
That and the pipe had to come out. There was no possible way they could have

A number of years ago now, I had an 86 Chevy Suburban. The exhaust pipe
would crack on the Y pipe where the 2 parts joined and I would drop
into the local Minute Muffler shop. They would put it on the hoist and
weld it in place and charge me $8.
It would last a year or two and then I would get

If you have a lift and a welder.
For all the work I do on my cars and the money I save by doing it, I don’t have
a problem paying for stuff I can’t or don’t want to do.
This is the only cost I’ve had on this car for over a year outside of
maintenance items. Tough to complain over $200.

Holy smokes, that repair he is about $40-50.

My tech is that way. I lost my AC belt so he slapped on a slightly used

The chain places can be so hit or miss. I know these guys and they’re very
