Sort of true of both Winnipeg and Ottawa but they are about 1200 miles apart. Ottawa is near Montreal on the Quebec border. Winnipeg is north of North Dakota. We are within a few miles of the longitudinal center of Canada. I drive by the sign every time I go to the lake. Randy On 13/08/2012
