There are many different ways of doing the replacement, the he you describe
being me of them. However, each procedure has its pros and cons, and the cons
were way too high for her on that particular one.

Nope. No hurry whatsoever. I'm going to be playing home health aide for at
least three weeks shortly when the wife has her hip replacement surgery early
next month anyway, so time is on our side
