'95 is normally aspirated with Porche designed intake runners. Great
fuel mileage, updated (modern) cosmetics.

easy to tell wheel and axle problems from driveline problems,

thinner than it should be and it seems to have a diesel smell, but hard
to tell. I started it up again stone cold and it fires right up, and
runs MUCH smoother than when warmed up. Idles ok with just a little bit

I'm happy with the tires I got for my Taurus at WalMart last Christmas.
The cheapest tires in the store, they stick as well or better
than the Continentals I had, and go through 1 of water at

The only source for serious dilution is the IP. You may have an issue with
the pump itself or more likely, the fuel pump that's bolted to the side of
the IP has a cracked diaphragm.

If the floor pan vibrates most strongly at the center bearing mount
(rear of driver's seat), it's the joint. Sounds a lot like a bad
muffler.
It can only be replaced by someone with the proper tooling ($600 or

Don't have exact figures because I haven't fixed the odometer that

should shut the car off in a pump or two. Watch for slow leakdown --

injector and check to see if it's in place. Poopy injector shouldn't
cause fuel dilution of the amount you describe, more like a couple

My 90 300D averages 31mpg -that's a 150 mile RT commute with highway,
sitting in traffic and 15 miles of local streets and roads. I am afraid
I am still recovering from 240D slug syndrome. I find myself using the
turbo a lot more than I probably should on the 300D 2.5t.
