so there is room to get the case out. I have the head off, plenty of room for
the case to come up and off.

thing to do is replace it. Failure of this rail would probably destroy the

chuck adapter from harbor freight. The back one I had to do blind but
managed to get it right on in the middle.

Well I got the stub of the crank bolt out today, finally. I think my
left-hand drill bit had dulled to the point of ineffectiveness, so I
switched to a right-hand bit and the stub immediately turned in. I
jammed a screwdriver into the drilled-out center of the stub and was

36k BTU and 4 head units (2x 9k and 2x 12k). Cost for that package will

I may be a bit out of the norm, but i'd say your old bolt did not
back out, but broke. I would lube with neverseize and put the bolt
in. I have always cranked on them until the engine just starts to
turn, then repeat 3-4 times. I have never had one back out.

So it appears the shutting down problem was the XP hard drive itself.
If I have power plugged into it, vista drive starts up and shuts down
the computer off. Sometimes it will try to run a scan disk on the 2nd
drive and it starts it but gets part way thru and shuts down. If I
leave power
USB adapters and external drive boxes are cheap (don't get the really
cheapo ones, I had one that lasted all of 5 minutes once).
That should keep it from being a boot device, but won't fix a virus
or software scramble problem.

The 6 bolts that hold the pully and vibration damping disc in place had
