I got some MB parts from Dr. Fatty and they arrived when he suspected they
would. I tried to effectuate a repair using said parts. The car was
uncooperative. I need Dr. Fatty to send me the more parts I requested so that
I may attempt the repair with greater gusto.

79 300TD - Bad diode. Replaced rectifier assembly twice (local purchase)
and both failed in short order. Replaced alternator with Bosch reman (Circa

Does the light turn on when you turn the key on? If that bulb is burned out it
will not charge.
