Ditto, very impressive! SWMBO was right, I fixed my attitude, cloud cover at the beach cleared about six minutes before totality and the show was fantastic. Crowds and traffic were scared off by the newscasters, parking was full but managed. Now we enjoy the beach for another hour or two

I looked at the sun with 3 of my helmets, 2 were 11 and the auto darken goes to 13. They said use 12 or up but it seemed fine with the 11. They were giving away glasses here free so we don't have to carry around the welding helmets. There is not near as many people here as I thought they were.

Really? This was my third significant eclipse that we've viewed with our eclipse glasses. I don't know how I've been able to lay hands on them as needed, but I did. The experience is pretty much the same, depending on how much of the eclipse you get. It looks like we will get even more than the
