FedEx Ground contractor just delivered Chinese Remy alternator #2. Looks good,
time to put it on the ML and see how long it lasts.
I handed him #1, he scanned it and told me I was all set.

So I drove the sdl all over tulsa today running errands. Made several stops.
When I started it back up once it had the problem. Started it cured it like
normal. When I got ready to leave from the next stop the car was completely
dead. No power at all. I checked the battery connections and while

When you take the cable clamps off, look for black oxide coating on the
posts and cables. This material is apparently the greatest insulator known.
It kills battery connection completely.
Once clean, I always coat the posts with dielectric grease.

Can't legally cover both ears in WA either. The Blue Parrot headset really
does work well at noise-canceling (on Tx) in the car. Callees, when asked,

When I was a teen, I used to plink twigs, smaller in diameter than a .22
bullet, with my Marlin 60. That'd be about as cheap as it gets.
