yeah right.  For some reason the 107s don't do much for me.  My buddy in Houston had a really nice 79 450SL and I drove it a few times, just seemed low on power and kinda wallow-y, plus it was a tight fit though I guess no worse than the 129.  I get they are a cool car, and having one to play

Well, I still think a 240D is ideal.   Forgiving, and not enough power to get into high speed or drag race trouble.   240D 4 speed.  Unless you can find a OM615 or OM621 powered MB.   #1 son learned in the 240D auto then transitioned to 200D 4 speed. Jim Cathey via Mercedes
