I had several TBN analysis's done on my 300SDL. All showed 75% TBN depletion
at 20Kmi. Using Delvac1!
Based on that, I changed at 20Kmi or shortly there after.

millionaires and using earmarks have wasted all the money everyone
We live in Connecticut. Bad health drove me to A/C our house last summer. We
put in a mini-split with heat pump. I'm convinced the heat pump saved us 50%
of our oil bill this winter, I will be cross comparing with a neighbor in a
few weeks.

BTW, the oil in Saudi (probably in other Mid east countries also - the oil
doesn't have to be pumped out of the ground - it comes out of the ground
under enough
Heat pumps are *very* efficient compared to oil (as you are learning) and
others -- they have seen major improvements over the years.
I wish I could afford the system where water is pumped ~30' into the ground
in a loop where it is cooled then used to cool the home -
