Well I guess I should start off with the easier stuff- citric acid flush,
coolant change, new radiator cap and t-stat. If that doesn't work then replace
radiator? As far as head gasket goes, are you suggesting that hot exhaust gases
are escaping into coolant passages? I haven't noticed a firm ra
Any injector with more than 100k miles is suspect. Purge is cheaper and easier
and won't hurt. Personally I'd get a set if rebuilt injectors from Q.

The problem with the typical temperature sensor is that when it is in free air,
it doesn't work. It had to be in contact with the liquid to be measured. Case
in point:

I've seen a ML diesel pull a W111 on a car trailer long distance without
