of the engine (timing chain cover), oil everywhere, mechanic didn't want to

That happened to me once in the '90 300D 2.5T - nick in alternator pulley
shredded the belt. Replaced the tranny cooling hose, belt, pulley,
re-filled the tranny, and it was good for another 50,000 miles when I sold
it.

antenna lock out. Back when I had a car with a working auto antenna I found
that if it was very cold out or we'd had sleet or freezing rain the dang thing
would get frozen down. No amount of siliconcarne spray would

Or just by my brother's rotting away but fairly newly rebuilt with
good tranny 75, put the bad parts in the dump and drive a good car.
Runs like a top, really, but there is no longer much below the
beltline to hold the car together.
