I was running some new memory for a year or two alongside the factory stuff and it was fine. I took out the new ones and was just using the factory stuff to make sure that wasn't the issue, I think I will swap the new ones in for the factory and see what happens before I tear into it again. Memory that does not meet Apple specs does all sorts of crazy things, I had exactly the same issue on my MDD until I pulled on of the "sticks". I suggest that they all be exactly the same, no matter what they are -- my "new" Mac Pro refused to boot until I pulled the factory sticks, seems that they were not compatible with the ones I installed. I was actually thinking to swap some just to see if that was the problem. If it is still acting up I'm gonna open it up again and make sure everything is well-seated. What prompted all this drama was that it started acting up, I ran diagnostics and it looked like it was the HDD overheating so that is why I did the swap/upgrade. Now maybe it is something else? I erased the HDD and then tried a TMRestore, it is giving me the spinning ball so either the mobo is going flaky, or the memory sticks or something loose. I'm wondering if I should blow everything away again, try to install the OS on the SSD instead of the HDD and see if I can get that to work, if not on the HDD again then do the TM restore right away so I don't have the two accounts going? Thoughts? The W220 is back on the road without airmatic issues. Lemforder part installed at my shop is the same as Benz, with the star ground off. My guy was not going to waste time and money putting one with a star in, so I told the idiots at the Stealership they screwed it up. They were unsure, but I demanded they fix. Turned out the moron who installed the sensor was so focused on the A arm that he missed actually installing the sensor correctly. He had not seated it properly, which led to the errors. In North Carolina, state officials began preparing for the possibility of conditions that could turn roadways dangerously slick. I've got about 75k miles and 4 or 5 years on dealer o-rings, no leaks yet. - Max Charleston SC If you run BioD, you need the viton. in the central US, quite a bit of fuel has 5% BioD to boost the cetane, add lubricity etc. Using a B05 blend lets the oil companies use crappier stuff for fuel.
