Note that he is talking about evacuation zones. That’s low-lying areas, which is most of the downtown and surrounding areas. We’re not in an evacuation zone. In fact, our property is on the fringes of Zone 5, which if activated, would mean there would be storm surges of over 30+ feet

A rule of thumb is to divide the engine HP by 1.5 to get the generator kW. At 1800 RPM you would be good for about 9kW based on the 14 bhp rating on the spec sheet I looked at. Looks like a 10kW Marathon “MagnaPlus” would do the trick:

The SL500 and E320 are in the garage. The E320 is our bug out car in the event of severe damage and is currently loaded with a full tank of fuel, bug out bags and a secure locker with all of our important papers. The 350SDL is pulled up nose in to the garage door in front of the SL500.
