For brake drums I usually get a three pound hammer and beat them until they come loose or shatter. I would suspect rear rotors would be the same, as long as the securing bolt has been removed. Be careful where you hit. A large hammer makes a mess of body work, and body parts in short order.

3 Jaw puller + acetylene torch. Put a bunch of tension on the puller, then heat the area between the lug holes and the hub hole until the rotor pops off. Only good for removing old rotor to install a new one, no matter how carefully I thought I did it the rotor got warped. Mitch.

He said it’s been removed. Corrosion gets into the area between the axle flange and the brake rotor, and the only thing that will break it loose is heat and/or force. You have to use a heavy, like 3-4 pound mallet or dead blow hammer, and just wail on the thing like there’s no tomorrow. -D
