Sounds like it is normal for OM606 to me. Operating very well after 20 years
at that. Techron or SeaFoam in the tank, as well as the really fun spray
seafoam for hosing down the intake. Gets the backside of the intake valves
cleaner.

Lots and lots of bad things going on as far as maintenance and fixes, though.
They sound minor in the description, but parts for these cars are stupid

If it's higher, from a few ohms up to no connection, that's your issue.
Check again after cleaning.

It’s a common “cube” style relay as I recall. You can remove it and carefully
pry the cover off with a small flat blade screwdriver to expose the armature
and contacts. Clean the contacts with some emery cloth and DeOxIt or other
