We went over to the stealer and picked up the 97 Sub, I paid the bill
and owed her $100. They just did an oil change and some minor stuff.
Had to jump it as the battery was weak from sitting or maybe it is going
bad. But drove it home no problems. It's going to need a few things
sorted but
I think that is totally different. Maybe, an addiction.

If it's part of your plan, find out before rather than when you need it.
Our old fridge couldn't be started on my original 1800W genny, it had
too much inrush current. But it ran the freezer just fine, and that was
than a straight van -- more headroom and space

I wonder if the replacement will work on a big OM372. The one on the Pisten
Bully leaks terribly when in use. Seems fine when locked down though.

In a pinch you can re-seal the originals. My 2006 notes on the 240D we had:
Had a look at the manual fuel primer pump. Not as leaky as I'd
thought. A little exercise seems to have helped
Big difference between backup systems good for overnight, and those
that can handle a week or longer. (Boy, would that get old fast!)
We're basically pretty old-school. Rope-pull genny, x2, the outdoor

I’m amazed that one of the mushroom style pumps is still in service. Those
things have gone the way of CRT TVs from what I know.
Thankfully, an easy fix. Swap it out and all should be well regardless of how
the car is parked.

Is it possibly the original “mushroom” style pump with the white plastic knob
that you have to unscrew to release it or the updated

Internet went out not long after I posted yesterday. Cellular was down to a
