BTDT, drove my '95 124 for about 3 or 4 hours on battery. You'll be fine. Don't use the HVAC blower fan, don't use the radio, don't shut off the engine. Maybe get one of those voltage meters that plug into the cigarette lighter so you can monitor the battery charge, if it goes below 12.0 volts,
