at night. SWMBO's current daily driver, the '95 E300, has tinted windows
that make it very hard to see to the sides and rear at night. Often I will

Phooey, rip out all the electrical stuff, install an air-starter, a storage
tank, and a compressor driven off the engine. Have an alternate way to
charge the air tank. Living without glow plugs might be rough, need a good
healthy compression engine.

Not the case here, Dan's got ZERO oil use over 1k miles on the highway. A
failed head-gasket or a bent rod would be sucking that oil down. I think
Dan also said this engine has the upgraded connecting rods.
