I recently re-joined after about a 5 year hiatus.  Events I have enjoyed
include the summer picnic at a member's estate, and a recent event hosted
by a commercial car detailer about prepping cars for the annual Deutsche
Marque concours to be held in Virginia next month.  I used to enjoy
hands-on tech sessions but those may have been discontinued.  The benefits
are worth the MBCA dues, IMO.

Mercedes EV SUV that was quite well decked out, with 185 mile range and
regenerative braking.  I drove 4 miles but used only 2 miles of range due
to this feature.  For the $95K asking price I would have expected a range
of 300+ miles.

We peaked at 89 percent in suburban DC.  The best part was when it started
at 2:05 ET - a tiny black wart appeared out of nowhere and began to grow on
the right side of the sun...  At 89 percent a tiny sliver was all that was
left of the sun, although there was no appreciable darkening of the sky...
The sun then began to emerge from bottom to top until all that was left of
the moon was a dimple (like a skull cap) at 4:00.  Fascinating.

[MBZ] Zimmerman brakes

My 2015 ML 250 needed rear brakes to pass MD inspection.  FCP Euro advised
that Zimmerman rotors at half the price of OEM were probably a safe bet,
since they are manufactured in Germany.  Anybody have experience with this
brand?
