Especially now that Elmer Fudd has lost his gun.
Personally I find the thought of Fudd chasing Bugs with a scythe the thing of
nightmares...

Our kitty has several kinds of cancer and it has been a chore getting him
to eat. One exception - he goes nuts for "Wascally Wabbit" cat food.
We have our own resident bunny who browess on clover rather than attack my
bed of carrots. Obviously, he hasn't been watching cartoons.

That was known as Mom's Rule when I was growing up.
Squirrel, rabbit, deer, if she could watch it from the kitchen window
while doing dishes it wasn't game.

Yeah I thought about rabbits also. Been so long since I've had any that
I don't really remember what they taste like. My mom made rabbit stew
once or twice when I was a kid.

I have a friend who had planned to raise meat rabbits, I'm not sure if he ever
did or not. I remember that he was having a hard time getting rabbits if he
admitted why he wanted them. Its interesting that people will give you a rabbit
right up until the point they realize you want to eat it.
IMO if you want to raise meat, rabbits would be a much better proposition than
chickens. No plucking required.
