Well I can get about 15 amps out of a direct connection right at the controller but that won't do much for the house since it's too far away. It's a safety and interface thing. The controller has to take the pulse of the net so to speak in order to synchronize the 60 cycle waves or else

I tried while the storm was still over on the coast on Monday morning and didn't get hold of anyone live. Yesterday afternoon and this morning I just get a busy signal. I will keep trying during the day and see if I get through. In the meantime I try to keep the dog and wife away from the area

Manfred, Isn’t there a way you can utilize your solar array for power? If not it seems sort of silly that it’s there making electrons yet you can’t put them to use… Just curious… -D > On Sep 12, 2017, at 7:45 AM, MG via Mercedes wrote: > > While the meter on the

While the meter on the dome is electronic, I don't think it is a smart meter. The meter on the house where the line was ripped lose is still an old analog type meter so no phone home from it for sure. MG Mitch Haley via Mercedes wrote: On September 11, 2017 at 6:53 PM MG via Mercedes

Not much. A soft hit on the edge of the roof, not too bad and easy to fix and a tree that took out the power line at the house end. Just pulled it right out of the connection and broke the strain relief. Now to wait for Clay electric to come and hook it back up. probably some time next month

The storm is moving north and west towards AL, I believe. However, it was such a massive storm that the rain bands reached out completely covering the peninsula of FL and were as wide as Charleston over to Pensacola. This thing was an absolute beast. 12 hours later and it’s a typical FL day,
