No headlights, daytime running lights, high beams, turn signals,
I did disconnect the negative battery on the car before welding and the problem
crept up before the welding...

Since you have the original ignition switch, can you essentially trace
power in and out on it and then try that on the car to see if indeed
power is being received and transferred by the switch when you turn the
lights on?
Since so much of it is dead, I have to wonder if it is in the power
Any chance a wire or fuse contact got dislodged back of the fuse box?
