No it just started.  I was at first thinking the guide rod mount but then this thing with having to push the pedal a bit to get it to engage says brake, probably hose, and it got progressively worse as I drove this afternoon, which would not be the bushing. I was thinking of a bunch of little s

Sounds like maybe a bum hose. Did this just start or have you been hearing the clunk previously? I ask because that’s also a sign of worn out guide rod mounts. -D > On Apr 19, 2018, at 5:45 PM, Floyd Thursby via Mercedes > wrote: > > I was driving the SEC this afternoon and noticed a little c

I was driving the SEC this afternoon and noticed a little clunk on breaking at LF wheel.  At first I thought it was something in the suspension but then it got to where I had to push the break petal a bit to get the breaks to engage, felt like left front, and then it would sorta clunk and then

I built a pressure bleeder with a $10 garden sprayer (one gallon), a spare brake fluid cap, fittings to attach a hose to the cap (with a hole drilled in the center) and 1/4" OD vinyl hose. Works grate on breaks! FCP has ATE break fluid in 1 L cans for a reasonable price. I bought 4 at a time.

I think a better option would be purchasing a Motive pressure bleeder, so fluid is pushed through the system instead of sucked. Doesn't the ABS pump circuit need pressure vice suction? -- Max Dillon Charleston SC '87 300TD '95 E300 ___ http://www.okiebenz.com
