Take a look at the control card. Look for signs of heat,
crystallized solder junctions, fried traces, etc. Maybe it's
just a bad triac, or solder joint.

Well, how much do you want to mess with it, that is the big question, or do
you just throw it out and get a new one.
How hard is it to open up the machine to get to the control card? If
that's not too hard, and you are going to get paid for a new machine by the
home warranty people, do you want
Found one there, to get the part number then found it elsewhere for
about $112. Not sure if it is worth spending that. If I knew for sure
it would fix it I would do it maybe. I don't want to buy it and it not
work.

Well that was a no go, I pulled both the fill and drain hose off it and
