You're right as usual. The dustless you sold me for my Lexus are great.
That's what I will use until something better shows up.
Thanks

So how do they compare to the $20 lifetime warranty
I think those pads are a scam. They're so hard they seem to wear the
rotors just as fast as the pads! It's a double plus for them- they sell
you some cheap pads and offer a lifetime warranty, and you come back a
year later and buy a whole new set of rotors from them! You're
guaranteed to buy
Look I know Rusty is a good bloke and does alright by the list members
but we are not going to know if the Akebone pads are worth the money if
people don't try them.
Brake dust is one of the few things I don't like about my MB's and if I
can reduce it I will happily pay a bit extra. Especially

That is why early in this thread, I said, if you want Akebono, search
for Akebono on you tube. If you want brake pads, just call the Rusty
man, aka Q as in Bond, James Bond. Q has or makes all the neat
toys. Whatever you want or need, Q has the answer.
SO, quit whining about where to buy

i've been using and pushing akebono pads for almost 3 years now. they are a
well proven product and one with complete customer satisfaction (except my
ex wife who can bitch about anything)
they are japanese so i'd have to think you can get them in australia

Might be time to look at new pads for the 124.090 as the light is
starting to flicker.
If I can I want to put some pads in there that don't get as dusty as the
standard variety, anyone have any experience with this?
