[MBZ] hmmmm 2001 Mercedes-Benz m-class ML 55 AMG Sport Utility 4D, $2, 800

This does not appear to be the kompressor version

I’ve just replaced the power steering rack, but the SPS valve on the PS 
rack isn’t bolted on. One trip to the hardware store and it would work 
flawlessly. Therefore it can be driven onto a trailer but not much 
further than that.

[MBZ] hmmmm E350 E500 CLK350droptop

[Floyd Thursby via Mercedes]

A buddy lives about 2.5-3hr up the road.  He was riding his motorcycle 
around the other day and sees these Benzes sitting at a shop out in the 
country.  I told him to find out what the stories are.  He went by 
today, they either have bad conductor plates or the E500 looks slammed.  
Told him to get the VINs on the 350s.  Could be good LOBALL material, he 
has worked on a bunch of cars including older Benzes in the past so he 
has a sense of them.


The convertible looks really nice, red/black top.

It is. No wood trim, just the plebeian leather and vinyl. The dash is amazing 
in that thing, it’s near impossible to find one with an uncracked dash these 
days. Dual Solex carbs (I believe they’re Solex carbs) and a stick. Can’t get 
much simpler than that.

It appears to be very nice. I wouldn’t be surprised if they get their ask.

In WA, I would send a registered letter to the last owner of record,
contents being the State's abandoned vehicle form.  When it is
returned by the postal service, take the UNOPENED letter to the
licensing agent, and they'll take care of it.

That's what I did.

meaning it’s getting to much fuel and I parked it and haven’t messed 
with it, I have the title but it’s in my dads name and he passed away 
several years ago, I have no desire to keep it and thought I would list 
it to see if anybody needs parts or would like to try and fix it,
Make offer may trade for stuff. I just put 1000 on it because it 
wouldn’t let me post otherwise.

1. Recently lost reverse while in the shop.
2) Rear accumulator is shot
3) Needs a center link that is NLA, although steering was recently

BTW, the tire prices on their site change from day to day, at least for

would have to have tires. Recaps could work on rears, but steer tires, new
only. You do NOT want a front steer tire failure.

Should be able to get a set of 11Rx22.5 recaps for the rears in the
$125-$150 range,each, New steer tires, if you shop hard in the $200 each
range. Expect Chinese tires at that price, but they are actually holding up
well in the commercial use.
