Well, this car has used oil since I got it. Just assumed bent rods and
would put a new engine in it down the road sometime. I then started to
suspect turbo because there is NO blowby, and I keep getting things like
the ALDA gooped up from oily crap. Though it might be oil from the
turbo.
Will get that check out to you ASAP. Was a lifesaver.

Those 3 AM feedings are a great reason to support breast feeding, as dad
really can't do much more than offer to hold the 'bottle.' Wait a minute.
I did all the diaper changes in the middle of the night and in the morning
before taking the kid in to mom... Now that I think about it I got in such

Started out the labor day holiday by finishing up the tranny install on
the 190D. Got it buttoned up, dropped the pan, no crap in the pan, it
looked great. New filter, filled it up with fluid, engine running, lots
of leakage from the front area. CRAP front seal. On a fluke though I

Wow! Congrats on your son. Hope all goes well.

Wife works in NICU for last 20+ years. It's amazing how screwed up
kids can be when they first come out and how a week later they are
perfectly normal. Best of luck.
Also possibly a blown head gasket on the 140 at the oil chamber in
front of the #1 cylinder. It's a known weak spot. Your symptoms
Bummer on the W201, bummer on the W140, CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of your

What a day!
Glad your son is doing fine, they are very scary at that age, so tiny!
If you are lucky, the turbo died on the W140 and is making lots of
oil smoke -- this particular symptom got one of the guys on the
Mercedesshop group a W140 cheap. Smoked like crazy (fogged things
out) but
Wow - what a day! Hope Mom and son are still OK -- our best to all of
