Tom and anyone interested in the route 6/66 trips - Yes, the anticipation is that there will be many members who will only drive short segments, or even just attend local section dinners or lunches en route. Looks about the way we saw it going out in late December, 04. There are many miles of almost nothing - hard to believe that it was a major route to CA not that many years ago, before I-40! (of course, there are many miles of I-40 that don't have too much going on, if you're driving it in late December, either!)
