Thanks for the info.  On the donor I am going to cut out all the front impediments, so it will slide out easily.  On the other car, I will have to use your technique for pulling and installing. Maybe I can get summadem Irma skeeters to just fly it out of the car!  Them thangs is YOOGE!

Best to have a rack on the lift that lets you tilt the engine. As you come up, crank it back so it's tail heavy, will allow the oil pan to clear the radiator support while the tranny tail is still under the firewall. You need to practice, as this is how it goes back in, gotta drop the tranny

I'm getting close to pulling the "good" engine from the 420SEL donor, I have disconnected and pulled everything from the engine bay that might be useful (the AC system still held a bit of pressure!).  I have most of the other stuff knackered too, will finish soon. Any suggestions for pulling
