I mentioned this to a friend and he asked me how it would be titled and I
didn't know, so I asked. I imagine it would be Dodge if Dodge and Fliner if
fliner, but that might be funny if you get pulled

I agree, but an odd Dodge that's made completely by MB in Dusseldorf with
Dodge do-dads popped on just before it goes on the boat.
I do think it might cause a problem if pulled over, if you replace the
do-dads with the orignal MB ones. The cop pulls up that you have a Dodge
Sprinter
But if he has half a brain, he will check the VIN, and it will show it as a
Dodge, regardless of the door or the grille. A state trooper should be
even bright enough to figure out that Dodge is a product of Daimler chrysler.

The VIN will match the VIN on the registration. There will be no further
questions, Especially if while handing the copper your registration, you
also point out the VIN so he can verify the match. YOu won't even have to
talk about putting a MB grill in a Dogde

Depends on which dealer sold it. Freightshaker sells Freightliners. THose
sold by Dodge are Dodges. As far as I know no Mercedes Benz Sprinters are
imported through official channels, so non are registered as MB. Doesn't
matter if you add the MB trim, a dodge would still be a Dodge, just

Freightliner or Mercedes; but Mercedes isn't selling them in the US,

The do-dads are just that, external emblems. You don't think all those
boy-racers that put a big R in their Civic's back window get to register
