No. I've been corresponding with him off list. I had him forward one of
the digest emails he received and found it was perfectly readable in
Sylpheed. I asked him what email client he was using, but have not gotten
an answer.

contained posts' subject matter and quickly delete quickly without wasting time 
which us old folks have a limited amount remaining.

You need to use a better dictionary. FBI isn't a word although NASA is. If FBI 
were a word you'd say "fibbie" not spell out the word.

Nothing has changed they are still there. I get them on my copy. Some mail 
programs and mail providers strip them off

So I wouldn't have a ton of list digests when I got back from a couple weeks 
away, I unsubscribed and resubscribed upon my return.  The resubscription to 
digest mode brought a surprise that the normal TOC of each digest disappeared 
and shows up as a separate attached file at the top which has to be opened just 
to see what the subject matter of the posts in a particular digest relate to . 
. . what a pain.  I've sent a note to Kaleb about this but haven't received a 
response as yet.  The old TOC format was helpful in that one could view the 
contained posts' subject matter and quickly delete quickly without wasting time 
which us old folks have a limited amount remaining.

Table Of Contents. I was on digest for a bit years ago and at the top of the 
digest was a numbered list of emails (sender and subject) contained therein.
