I would agree for the most part as a purist, however, I see the circulating pump as a time bomb which, if not fused to prevent potential damage to the rest of the system, I would easily replace wth a more reliable arrangement. I noticed the circulating pump on the 400E has been disconnected.

Yes 201 had a vacuum controlled heater valve. It sucks. Sent from my iPhone > On Feb 14, 2018, at 9:26 AM, Meade Dillon via Mercedes > wrote: > > On the peach parts forum, there's a claim that the 201 models used this > arrangement, so if there are official MB parts

124 vice 123: I'd change it because the 1995 E300 Diesel monovalve is not rebuild-able (no insert is sold) and is unique to the 1995 E300 model and is pretty darn pricey from MB ($140 or more? I could be wrong on that). In addition, the replacement monovalve available from MB has a bad reputation

On the peach parts forum, there's a claim that the 201 models used this arrangement, so if there are official MB parts support for things like the vacuum controlled monovalve, that would be huge. - Max Charleston SC On Wed, Feb 14, 2018 at 10:24 AM, Dan Penoff via Mercedes <
