A Prius? C'mon, stay close to the herd and get a TDI. Better fuel economy
on average if you do highway driving, and environmentally cleaner because no

That's only 14% over spec, and I suspect spec is very conservative.

ON that note, I've thought about getting one of the new Highlander Hybrids,

fuel mileage for a 4WD model is 29MPG, and we're talking about a 2 ton plus

I'll take the first $1500 for it.
There's an '82 300TD on CL here in Portland for $1650 with head gasket
problems (probably needs a new engine but possibly not). I've seen it creep
down from $1950 during the past few weeks. It's awefully tempting and would
be more so if I had a place to work
No Kaleb offersLOL I need to get as close to $1500 as I can but I
need parts for my truck so cash talks..

All items I've thought of, but the XFi and HF's and VX's(haven't looked much
for the HX's) are first off, all still 10-20 years old and beyond that, they
seem to be rarer than hens teeth. I've had searches up for more than a year
now and in total I think I've seen maybe one HF that hadn't had an e

Then how about some proven technology, like a Geo Metro XFI or Honda CRX HF,
either of which get more MPG and are easier to fix than a Toyota Priapism.
There's also the Honda Civic VX
Yeah, I can believe it closer to Ithaca. I'm usually on the other side of

Hmm, no fraid I'm going looking for a Prius. I only got the benz to run on
veggie and I'm getting tired of the mess, effort, time and bears. Without
the veggie it's simply a nicely engineered old boat.

Levi,
There are actually several 123's right in this area. Many more the

Wow, and here I am getting near time to sell my 83' 300D greasecar that's
located about 20 minutes from there... Just seems odd since I hardly ever
see any other 123's around...

If I can get this sold and get the money to fix my truck I will work with
anyone on this list as much as I can to get it delivered for just the cost

Hey All,
I have decided to sell my 83 300TD. I never have time to mess with it
to even see what is the matter with the transmission. The engine runs
great, starts right up no problem.
The fuel tank is rusty and is plugging the primary fuel filter often so
that needs taken care of and the trann
