Yes, but GPs can easily be diagnosed without pulling, so why would you pull
one and then return it?
I read that letting the engine warm before attempting makes this a safer
operation.

Are the people with serious problems able to diagnose with a computer?
On VW TDIs a computer connection is critical and the guys that refuse to buy 
the cable spin their wheels...

Pretty much the same problem as the OM606 and 
newer car engines.  long weak glow plugs that 
break off in the head.


If you get one out, better coat it with never seez.

Neverseez is good for all GP threads, even the 
serial plugs, but especially all aluminum/steel 
connections.
