You are totally asking the wrong people about curing the diesel disease.
I
mean, that's like asking your crack dealer if it's a good idea to kick the
habit.
I kinda figured that.
I paid $5000 for my 1992 300D. 286Kmi, new transmission at 200K, new

Hi All,
I know several of you (us) have bought 124 diesels recently. Sunil and OK
Don come to mind. How much did you guys pay? I am going to check out a
1992 300D tomorrow.
Also, is there any cure
seats - I'm interested. Even better if it's somewhere on the west
coast. For some reason almost all of them are on the east coast, d'oh.

My '90 300D 2.5 had 243k miles (still shows that - odometer stopped
about 100 miles after purchase). I paid $4500 for it - no maintenance
history other than the it had good care for the three or four years
the PO (D. Snook) owned it. I think the engine is all original, and
the tranny probably is

Hi Rick.
I bought my '91 300D about 3 weeks ago (2/17 IIRC) - it had ~99K miles
and
is in excellent condition. My other MB is a '78 240D with 286k miles and
the difference that 13 years of constant improvement to diesel engines is
nothing
to be.
